After Noriaki finished his studying at Berklee College of Music in Boston, U.S.A. and came back to Japan in 2006, he has been searching musicians for his band. In 2007, he finally found Takahiko and Naoki as his mates to fit with his music and formed "Noriaki Hosoya Trio". As it went well as they play together, it turned to the actual band called "Noriaki Hosoya Trio Landscapes" in 2008.
Having a lot of influences from ECM style of music, Noriaki's compositions are very lyrical, melodic, but also dynamic at the same time; which creates remarkable musical charactor as a piano trio.
In 2009, they recorded their first official recording & released the album "Noriaki Hosoya Trio Landscapes" in 2010. They also did CD release tour in 2010 & went very well. They also performed "Sumida Jazz Festival 2010" in Tokyo, Japan.
Since Noriaki moved to Berlin, Germany at the September 2010, they stopped the project for a while. After Noriaki came back to Japan for his vacation in 2012, they had a "reunion" concert in his hometown & had a great success. This concert was reported by Shizuoka newspaper as well as SBS radio Shizoka.
All vidoes are from the concert in LIFETIME Shizuoka, Japan on 27th of March, 2012.
